The Anti-Conference

Substance over vendor narrative

Floverla was built to replace corporate keynote theater with high-density architectural debates, uncensored post-mortems, and actionable operational notes for seasoned builders.

Origin

Conceived by senior engineers tired of pay-to-play summits

Most technology conferences are designed for procurement buyers rather than builders. We founded Floverla as a deliberate correction: an uncompromised space where infrastructure architects can discuss systems failure, scaling limits, and production realities without marketing gloss.

Every session is peer-reviewed by active maintainers and senior engineers. If a talk cannot demonstrate production metrics or configuration code, it does not make the schedule.

Curation Rules

No vendor pitch decks, no rehearsed PR talking points, and zero tolerance for buzzword compliance.

Speakers must present unvarnished post-mortems and live configuration code.

Methodology

Four-step vetting for every speaker and session

Production Delivery

Technical committees evaluate architectural depth, scale metrics, and failure documentation.

Selected speakers submit repositories or configuration manifests for peer inspection.

Presentations undergo rigorous stress-testing to eliminate commercial bias.

Talks are presented live to an audience of peers with unscripted Q&A.
